ASAP Social Networking Strategy
Several months ago, I set up a Ning site for The Real Estate Cafe after we were quoted in a story by Boston Globe Magazine article entitled, "Talking about a Revolution."
What is the best way to use social networking, and user groups the Grasshopper Ning site to help seed the "Million Dollar March," a friendly, annual fundraising competition for AIDS orphans between home buyers and sellers in different cities across the US?
I've included some background text in my Grasshopper profile.
My dream scenario would be to create a real estate version of BarCamp / PodCamp, to help launch ASAP: AIDS Shelter Alliance Partners (which is like a real estate version of (product)RED. Great way to celebrate an important annniversary. Ralph Nader appeared at The Real Estate Cafe eleven years ago today, and Boston.com carried the event "live" a chat on their web site.
At a minimum, I hope to use the anniversary to launch the <a href+"http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkCast.jsp?masterId=25383&talkCastId=25383">TalkShoe site I've already set up, and over time <a href="http://realestatecafe.pbwiki.com/Experimental+Calendar>use this calendar, to revisit the reform agenda real estate consumer advocates discussed in 1993, the first time we hosted Nader in Boston.
I'm still interested in renovating this <a href="http://www.tabblo.com/studio/stories/view/191345/>ice cream truck, and invite 20 best of breed, money-saving business models -- 10 for buyers and 10 for sellers -- to use the mobile mapping / podcasting studio to spread their message through curbside seminars at block parties, open houses, special events, and the mother of all marketing opportunities this Fall -- tailgating outside college football stadiums.
Any ideas about next steps, including how I might fold this idea into existing PodCamps, or if we can create a revenue, hire you as a consultant?
